Living
like home.
Lifestyle, design —
not hotel standard.
A lifestyle and design hotel in the tri-border region, furnished with brands like Vitra and Polyform. Run by the Wiedmer family — with the same standard that has shaped the Krone Inzlingen since 1996. Under the same roof: a Michelin-starred restaurant. Whoever sleeps here dines at the same level.
Clean lines.
Pieces that last.
Every room air-conditioned, with balcony or terrace — textiles, lighting and details that don't look like a hotel, but like home.
45 rooms.
One suite.
Comfort
The base — clear and quiet, with a balcony.
Superior
Comfort, only larger.
Signature
In the newer wing, especially quiet.
Superior Suite
The largest room in the house.
From the single room to the family room with garden access — all air-conditioned, all with balcony or terrace, furnished with Vitra and Polyform.
Pool. Garden.
And 16 hens.
An outdoor pool 8 × 4 m, heated to 22–24 °C in summer, plus a lawn to stretch out on in green surroundings and a gym with Life Fitness equipment. Sixteen hens live on the grounds — a bench in front, sit down, watch.
This morning's
eggs.
The sixteen hens on the grounds provide what lands on your plate at breakfast. Michelin cuisine, wonderfully down to earth.
Door shut.
World off.
Those who check in tend to stay longer than planned: short steps between room, pool and garden, quiet all around — and a Michelin-starred restaurant under the same roof. A house to arrive in, not just to sleep in.
Eight minutes —
another world.
Vitra Campus, Fondation Beyeler, Basel's old town, the Black Forest, the Markgräflerland — all within reach. Five kilometres to Basel city, parking and EV charging at the door, free of charge.
